Mark you calendars – Saturday, January 14th, 2023 for a fun afternoon of skating at the Deer Ridge Community ice rinks. The Family Skate is a free family and friends’ event open to everyone. It has been a much anticipated and well attended event that features music, a fire to warm up, hot dogs and hot chocolate, and lots of skating. The leisure skate and shinny hockey outdoor rinks are located at 155 Deermont Way SE (Behind Don Bosco School). Please park on Deermont Way,

Deer Ridge Skate – Thank-you!

We would like to thank all of those that attended the Deer Ridge Winter Skate on January 10, 2015. It was a great afternoon at the Deer Ridge Community Ice Rinks. Those who attended enjoyed free hotdogs and hot chocolate along with the two of the BEST ice surfaces in the city (compliments to the rink volunteers). Thank you all for making the Deer Ridge Winter Skate a wonderful afternoon!

A huge thank you to Mr. Miller and his crew for all the time and effort went into clearing snow, flooding and maintenance of the Deer Ridge Hockey Rink and the Pleasure Rink tonight. Six hours of snow blowing, scraping, shoveling and flooding to get the ice back into shape for regular use tomorrow.
