Bring your whole family out to the Deer Ridge Winter Skate on January 11, 2014 from noon to 4pm . Free Hot Chocolate, Hot Dogs & Hamburgers. Enjoy an afternoon of skating with friends and family at the Deer Ridge Ice Rinks behind Don Bosco School.
Come out to Parkland Community Hall 505 Parkvalley Road SE on Saturday January 18 from noon to 2pm and meet with Councillor Peter Demong @peterdemong #peterdemong at his first Aldertalk of 2014. A huge thank you to Mr. Miller and his crew for all the time and effort went into clearing snow, flooding and maintenance of the Deer Ridge Hockey Rink and the Pleasure Rink tonight. Six hours of snow blowing, scraping, shoveling and flooding to get the ice back into shape for regular use tomorrow.
