Two very valued members of our board have recently resigned from their roles in favour of private pursuits:

The board would like to thank Ms. Barb Chapin for her many years’ service on the board as secretary, as casino coordinator, and for her work on special projects. Ms. Chapin could always be counted on to keep the board up to date and on track with planning from meeting to meeting. She will be much missed, and we wish her great happiness and success in her new pursuits.

The board would also like to thank Ms. Angela Ziegler for her service and contributions as board member over the last years. Ms. Ziegler helped freely with the many tasks and details that are necessary to keep the community association functioning, and her assistance has been greatly valued. We wish her much enjoyment and success in every area of her post-board life.

The best part of the many activities was getting out and getting together for community fun.

Thank you to all the volunteers, our community partners for donations and supplies, and special thanks to all of you who were able to attend!

Make sure you come and bring your family and friends to Yellow Slide Park on August 20, 2022 for a very special fun evening of activities, hot dogs, drinks, snacks, and a movie at sundown. Enjoy getting together once again over a movie, food, and fun, with folks you haven’t seen in a while. It’s all free, so all you need to bring is jackets, chairs or blankets, bug spray, and your enthusiasm for a great night of getting together with friends.

Volunteers for help with set up, refreshments, people flow and safety, and post event equipment tear down and clean up, are so important in ensuring Movie in the Park runs smoothly.
