Due to new public health measures announced today, March 17th, 2020, in response to COVID-19 the Casino Fundrasing event has been cancelled. Thank-you very much to all the volunteers who signed-up committing their time for the event! We will be contacting everyone individually.

Our major fundraising casino will be held on Monday, April 6, and Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Cash Casino (4040 Blackfoot Trail SE). There are still a few volunteer positions and shifts available. Day shifts are 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. Evening shifts are 7:00 pm to 3:30 am. Count room is 11:00 pm to 3:30 am.
This is a fun opportunity to meet your neighbours and help ensure AGLC funding is available to the community for facilities and programs such as ice rinks, tennis courts, replacement of aging playgrounds, youth programs, and special events like Movie at Yellow Slide Park.
Training is provided. Meals are no expense to the volunteer and transportation is available, if needed. Please visit our casino volunteer page to review postion details and sign-up.
Join us for a fun afternoon of skating at Deer Ridge community ice rinks on Saturday, January 11th, 2020, from noon to 4:00 pm. Take a rest from skating to warm up by the fire and enjoy free hot dogs and hot chocolate. Shinny hockey on the big rink and lots of room on the pleasure rink for learning and casual skate. The rinks are located along Deermont Way SE, at the south-east corner of Don Bosco School field. We look forward to seeing you there. Round up the family, call on the neighbours, and bring those who are new in the community. This is a completely free event – no community membership required.
